Congratulations to the Cruz family!
Mónica Cruz gave birth to a baby girl Tuesday (May 14) in Madrid, Hola reports. Just days before giving birth to her first child, the brunette beauty, 36, joined cast members on the set of TV’s Aguila Roja.
Her famous sister, Penélope Cruz and husband Javier Bardem were spotted at the International Ruber Clinic in Madrid, Spain on Tuesday. Their mother, Encarna, and brother, Eduardo Cruz, also stopped by the hospital to show their support.
Mónica welcomed her first child as a single mother, turning to artificial insemination to conceive. “If by doing this I can help other women who have their doubts, you have me here for whatever you need,” she shared.
“I’m going to be a mother!” the actress-model announced. ”I have managed to fulfill the dream of a lifetime. Because of that, I want to share with all of you this special journey and be able to tell you about all of my experiences during this fascinating time…”
