Back in April Green Day announced the forthcoming release of a trilogy of albums titled ¡Uno!, ¡Dos! and ¡Tré!. Today, courtesy of the band itself, we get our first look at the finished album art for the three albums. As you can see below, each album features a different member of the band on each cover … Billie Joe Armstrong is ¡Uno!, Mike Dirnt is ¡Dos! and Tré Cool is ¡Tré!

As you may recall, Green Day plans to release these albums in sequence in September, November and January. I can’t say I’ve been a big fan of the most recent Green Day albums but I am intrigued by this trilogy of releases. I like the album art so as a person who tends to judge albums by their covers, this bodes well. I hope we’ll get to hear new music soon and I really hope I’ll like what I hear.
