Snoop Dogg, previously known as Snoop Dogg, released a smoke-filled music video for his new single “Ashtrays and Heartbreaks.” Former Disney star Miley Cyrus is also seen in the clip, and let’s just say she’s come a long way since her days as Hannah Montana… but in a good way. Check out the video below:
The single appears on Snoop Lion’s latest record Reincarnated, which is the rapper’s first of its kind – it’s more reggae than rap. The album debuted at number 16 on the Billboard 200 and has sold 40,000 copies to date, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
The video shows both artists singing and dancing over images of a poor urban city. There are short clips featuring birds, homeless people, a homeless man feeding birds and a few fighting couples. Cyrus is only seen as a reflection on various types of windows, mirrors and some heart-shaped glasses. Snoop is also seen as a reflective projection, but also makes an appearance in the real-flesh (this is his video after all). Here it is:
Cyrus recently announced (at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards) that she’ll be releasing her first single, “We Can’t Stop” off her fourth studio album, on June 3.
