Sure, Ri-Ri is normally pretty fashionable, but she made the HUGE mistake of showing up at a fashion show looking a hot mess. This time it was for the pink carpet at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2012.
I know Rihanna sometimes wears those high-waisted pants, which only look right on a few people–and she is one of them. In fact, I think she might have started the trend. But this time I really hope there is no new trend in the works.
This is just wrong from head to toe. First of all, her hair looks like a tribute to 50′s women. Maybe even some kind of Marylin Monroe throw-back ‘do. That would be fine in a nice white, sparkly gown or something. But her top looks like something a granny would wear under her church clothes. Almost like a loose-fitting bra.
Then there’s her skirt. That thing looks so wrinkly and faded, I can’t even find words. It almost looks like she had to jump over a few fences to get into the event and her skirt got caught on something. Again, it is awkward how high-waisted the skirt is, but she is at least allowed to do that.
On to the shoes. Who matches grey with white and black? It just doesn’t go. Overall she is a disheveled mess in these pics.
Fail.
